New Wii game from Eledees creator

Konami has announced Dewy's Adventure, a new game coming to the Wii in 2007.

Designed by the producer of Eledees (formerly Elebits), Dewy's Adventure stars a droplet of water called Dewy. The game is set in a world where pure water and green forests have flourished under the careful watch of the Elder Tree. However, the evil Don Hedron has taken control of the Elder Tree and transformed the land into a dark place covered by Black Water.

In a last-ditch attempt to save its world, the Elder Tree creates a small droplet of water and grants it the power of the elements. All hope to eradicate the Black Water and restore the world to its previous beauty lies with Dewy.

Using the Wii Remote players will have to tilt the game world to guide Dewy through puzzles. The little droplet that could will usually take the form of a droplet of water, but to overcome certain puzzles in the game he will have to transform into ice or steam.

Dewy can be moved by manipulating the landscape around him. The simplest method is to tilt the remote which in turn creates an incline for Dewy to roll down. Players can also use gestures to create earthquakes, windstorms and thunder storms.

In addition to the game's story mode, Dewy's Adventure will include an edit mode where players can create play areas for themselves and friends to enjoy.

Dewy's Adventure is scheduled for release on the Wii in 2007.
