Dead Space Wii limps into UK chart

Fails to make the All Formats Top 40 - No.16 in Wii only chart.
EA's Dead Space: Extraction has failed to make the UK video game chart Top 40 in its first week on release, according to ChartTrack.
Looking at the Wii-only chart the game could only manage 16th place, once again fuelling discussion that adult-oriented mature games simply don't sell on Nintendo's console.
Dead Space: Extraction is an on-rails prequel to Visceral Games' impressive new horror IP Dead Space, released in October 2008 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

This is why it's so low in the sales chart.

I would actually buy a wii for this game, but i bet Sony will make a patch for the motion control use for this game.

Its the target audience of the machine rather than the game itself. The Wii is usually owned by families, so games such as Dead Space, House Of The Dead, Dead Rising and Resident Evil won't even get touched by the hands of these families.
Tis a shame nonetheless.

I've barely seen it advertised (aside from on this site) nor have I heard that much build up to it. I'll give it a download as soon as possible.

I urge every Wii owner over 18 to buy this game now!

Probs because the Wii is mainly considered a family console and younger than 18.
