XCOM: Enemy Unknown: Mission 10

Good mission lads, nice and safely through, I'm looking forward to when tougher enemies and whoever gets hit first by one of those disc enemies.

How did I end up on this mission? I could of sworn it was meant to be mintyrebel that was the support for this round.

We usually record on Monday, but we knew we were going to be hammered by Black Ops 2 and various other things this week - so we recorded this on Friday afternoon. Matt was off sick on Monday, otherwise we might have put this up earlier in the week.

Apologies to anyone who's not been featured lately; we were working around the idea of levelling a team for the base assault, but maybe it's more fun if we go in with a few lower-level squaddies. In fact, given that I plan to capture the base commander alive, I think we definitely should.

Either way, we'll try to up the squad diversity in future missions.

These are worth their virtual weight in bonus XP. It's just a shame we have to wait so long between episodes.

Just an observation. On your home page you have that thing that flicks though your top stories; I don't know what you call it but you know what I mean. Well your top four features for the best part of today were F1 Race Stars Review, Black Ops 2 Review, Disc Lickers 7 and The Week in Review. That means that for Monday, Tuesday and most of Wednesday this week you had two 'top' features that were retrospective of the previous week. All I'm saying here is that for anybody new visiting the site they'd be met with a wall (or at least half a wall) of last week's news.

Just a suggestion. I don't know how everybody else feels but I think these videos are great. You could record them early and/or post them earlier than a Wednesday. I know yesterday's big thing was the Blops 2 review, but I would have thought you could have squeezed an XCOM episode in there somewhere. Or how about one of your liveplay videos from Twitch? I just think it might be in your own interest to keep the main feature part of your homepage a bit more, well, current.
