I was about to post on here to say what about army working officers overseas as their barracks are actually UK addressed with Royal Mail over there. Only know this because of my line of work mind.

While you made your point I think the detail was a little over the top. A simple I currently work in Luxemburg but live in the UK would of done, this just comes across like your trying to show off.

Yes, I am currently in Luxembourg, however my actual home residence is in the UK. I work out here where wages are high and a company has so graciously paid for my accommodation whilst I do development work for them. I've been a repeat contractor for them for over a year now and come over here on 6 month stints. My bank account is still based in the UK, as is the house that I own (Jointly with my sister) as is my driver's license and passport.

I grew up in the UK, have lived in Leicester most my life and worked for 2 large Leicestershire companies called Dunelm Mill and Next Plc. After being a developer there, I moved on to being a contractor and managed to use that to travel around Europe and do work overseas whilst still being based in the UK.

Effectively, because of what you have said, you have said anyone in the army currently overseas is not eligible for this competition, I feel sorry for those lads in Afghanistan who aren't allowed to enter these competitions. Hell my Army officer buddy who is currently in Germany should complain too. It would be a nice treat for them to come home to.
