I think it was easier to wow anyone who's not a fan of ME as opposed to hardcore fans because i thought it was just "okay". In fact, i don't think i've been wowed by an ME 3 trailers since Bioware started releasing them and i'm huge fan. Perhaps they're trying to target more people and reserving the really good stuff for those who experience it.
