They just pissed that they waited so many years for Snake to be totes bad ass again, only for Raiden to be all liek "lulll look at me I'm not Snake, sorry guyzzz".

On balance, MGS1 is probably best because the gameplay is mostly kept very basic, and it has the purest, most well thought out and well defined story.

This is good. I feel like we are getting somewhere Bloodstorm. Okay, to clarify my opening statement. MGS1 is the don, MGS2 sucked balls and I'm happy to leave MGS1 in the dusty past.

Ending parts completely messed it up for me, it was ok to begin with then the whole patriots thing kicked off and then the part where people could write 10,000 word essays on begins and i went "no, this has to finish. BLOODY HURRY UP!"
