Welcome to VideoGamer.com's top racing games of All Time, a list of the best videogames, generated by editorial reviews and popularity on the site. Here's a look at our favourites...
As the set includes two or three games that are worth looking at, the collection might just be worth its low price tag, but calling them treasures might be going a little too far.
With a great game engine and genuinely enjoyable racing, it's a shame that the story mode, annoying AI and lack of multiplayer modes prevent the game from being a blast to play.
Juiced simulates what it may well be like to live as a street racer, but most people want more fun in a videogame. You'd be much better off picking up the far more entertaining Midnight Club 3.
Crash Tag Team racing is an enjoyable, although rather confused videogame. Crazy characters and variety in gameplay should appeal to the younger market that the game was so obviously designed for.
Kids wanting a fun game to while away their summer holiday could do a lot worse. It's just a shame that the racing isn't up to the quality of the rest of the game.
Outrun 2 is a good game, it's just very short and let down by poor AI, and online play disappointing. While it lasts the experience is great and if you must own the game, this conversion is very good
All problems aside, MX vs. ATV Unleashed is an enjoyable game. It takes a while to get into the groove, but many of the outdoor tracks are rather thrilling to race on.
Regardless of that feeling of déjà vu, Carbon is another solid racer from EA, and the Auto-Sculpt feature is absolutely fantastic.
Make no mistake. The single player game is fun, but doesn't warrant a purchase. However, the same game on Xbox Live is the most entertaining game available for the service and will eat away your time.
A great multiplayer game. One of the best in recent memory.
