Warhammer: Battle for Atluma for PSP
Namco Bandai has announced Warhammer: Battle for Atluma, a new card collecting game for the PSP.
Developed by JV Games, Warhammer: Battle for Atluma is described as a game of strategy and quick wit, with more than 400 cards to collect, trade and use to beat the opposition.
Players will have to battle the armies of the Grand Alliance or the evil Hordes of Darkness, along the way discovering the secrets of Atluma. The game will also feature wireless multiplayer so players can battle with friends and trade cards. Card games are often daunting for newcomers, so an extensive tutorial mode is included that should bring novices up to speed.
"One of the more compelling card-based games to date, Warhammer: Battle for Atluma goes beyond simple player interaction and encourages an inclusive sense of community among players through head-to-head battles, card collecting, trading and strategy sessions," said John Whitmore, Director of Internal/External Development at Namco Bandai Games America Inc.
Warhammer: Battle for Atluma for the PSP is scheduled for release in North America later this year. No European release date has been announced at this time.
