The Godfather hits retail March 24

EA has announced that The Godfather videogame will be released across Europe on March 24, arriving in North America three days prior on March 21.

PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC gamers have only a few months to wait until The Godfather finally makes it to retail. Those wishing to pick up the Xbox 360 or PSP version of the game still have some waiting to do though, with these versions expected at some point later in the year.

"The Godfather is one of the most exciting, dramatic and memorable works of fiction in the world; for the videogame, we felt it was important to build a complex and responsive open-world that puts you in the heart of the action," said David DeMartini Executive Producer of The Godfather The Game. "The deeper you are into the experience the better the game gets," DeMartini added.

Expect a review near the game's release.
