Persona remake confirmed for PSP

New gameplay enhancements promised.

Atlus has announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Persona for PSP, a remake of the first entry in the critically-acclaimed RPG series, will be released in North America this autumn. There's currently no word on a European release.

SMT: Persona for PSP will feature a completely redone localisation and content never before seen in North America. The handheld remake will also offer gameplay enhancements allowing players to experience Persona in a whole new way.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona is currently scheduled for an autumn 2009 release in the US.
