Patapon confirmed for Europe

Sony Japan's musical PSP game given February release date in North America.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced a February 2008 release date for the rather great looking PSP title Patapon. It's a visually stunning 2D game staring a warrior tribe called the Patapons who've been exiled from their home.

It's up to the player, Great Patapon, to quite literally beat the tribe back into life. Using a mighty war drum players will have to lead the tribe through their world and using a host of other drums can instruct them to attack, retreat and begin JuJu chants.

The game's been confirmed for a North American release in February and although no date has been set for Europe, Sony has confirmed it will be coming to these shores.
