Need for Speed ProStreet announced

Next NFS title to launch on numerous platforms in November 2007.

In development at EA Black Box, Need for Speed ProStreet is the next game in the hugely successful street racing series. The new game will apparently take the series in a new direction, with players taking part in numerous racing showdowns all over the world.

The Autosculpt technology that was last seen in NFS Carbon returns, but is said to now impact your car's performance as well as its appearance. AI racers will be aggressive and new online modes will introduce competitive social gaming.

As with most of EA's big franchises, Need for Speed ProStreet will be available for numerous platforms, including Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS and PC.
