Upcoming PSP exclusive Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will feature characters from Square Enix's smash hit franchise Monster Hunter, Hideo Kojima confirmed at a recent press conference in Tokyo.

A video was shown featuring Snake fighting some well known Monster Hunter beasts, complete with Monster Hunter's background music. According to an earlier Famitsu report, Monster Hunter mascot Felyne and monsters Tigrex and Velociprey will make an appearance.

Furthermore, Kojima confirmed that Metal Gear Assassin's Stealth, shown in an April Fool's trailer is real and will be in the game. Essentially, Snake will be able to dive into boxes of straw a la Assassin's Creed and escape to cover.

Kojima also announced he will embark on a worldwide tour, beginning when Peace Walker launches in Japan on April 29. The game launches in the UK on June 18.

What are you talking about? The final boss could be Big Boss on a T-Rex vs A Metal Gear.

That would be a moive I'd like to watch.

Yea, Square Enix? Capcom you mean.

I hope this doesn't come into play in the story mode.

No, I'm saying Square Enix have nothing to do with Monster Hunter. It is developed and published by Capcom.
