MGS Peace Walker out May 28

A few months after the game's Japanese release date.

Konami has announced that the next instalment in the Metal Gear Solid series, Peace Walker, is to be released in the UK on May 28, 2010.

Developed specifically for the PSP, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is the next true chapter in the story of legendary special ops expert, Snake, and acts as a direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

The game is set in 1974 and features an all-new story penned by Hideo Kojima himself.

"Metal Gear Solid fans should prepare themselves for the next chapter of Snake’s story," commented Hideo Kojima, Head of Kojima Productions and creator of the Metal Gear Solid series.
