Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for PSP

Set 10 years after events of MGS3.

Today, speaking at the SCEA E3 media briefing, Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima announced that a new Metal Gear Solid title, Peace Walker, is currently in development for PSP.

The game is set 10 years after events of Metal Gear Solid 3 and was described as a "true sequel". Kojima emphasised that he'll be deeply involved in the game, writing the script and producing - this won't be a spin off or a side story.

A trailer was also shown, hinting at cooperative gameplay and confirming a 2010 release date.
