Metal Slug Anthology on PSP gains Metal Slug 6

Ignition Entertainment has announced that the previously Japanese only release of Metal Slug 6 will also be included in the anthology.

Metal Slug 6 has previously only been available in Japan, but will now make its way to Western gamers for the first time as part of the Metal Slug Anthology for PSP. In Metal Slug 6 the Ikari Warriors (Ralf Jones and Clark) join in on the action to aid Marco, Tarma, Eri and Fio as they battle General Morden.

"The inclusion of Metal Slug 6 in the Anthology, means that an all ready great package has just got a whole lot better," Says Peter Rollinson, Product Manager, Ignition Entertainment Ltd. "Metal Slug Anthology now offers something for everyone."

The Metal Slug Anthology features arcade perfect conversions of Metal Slug 1, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4 and Metal Slug 5, plus exclusive bonus content in the shape of Metal Slug 6. Games will feature two-player co-op over wireless and will be playable in widescreen and the original screen format.

Metal Slug Anthology is scheduled for release towards the end of the year.
