THQ has released a playable demo of its street racing sequel.
Street racing fans disappointed by EA's decision to move the latest Need for Speed title away from its recent street style should look no further than THQ's Juiced 2. The game is due out across a host of formats later this year, but Xbox 360 gamers have been given a chance to sample the action months before release.
A playable demo of Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights has arrived on Marketplace today. Players will get the chance to drift, race, bet and mod their ride in the multi-event taster.
Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights is currently scheduled for release in September for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PC, PSP and DS.

Update: glad I tried it, saves me buying it. Handling is like Ridge Racer, graphics remind me of Midnight Club on the PS2, progression and gameplay seems just like any Need for Speed title, damage seemed purely cosmetic and I'm glad I wasn't able to unlock any drifting challenges because I hate drifting. Note for game designers - the addition of girls wiggling around in hotpants and a DJ in a bikini behind the podium doesn't help with the gameplay and, to be brutal, smacks of desperation.
If you like arcade racers you'll probably enjoy it, but I'd take PGR, even Ridge Racer, over Juiced any day of the week.Last edited on Fri 27 July 2007 by FantasyMeister
