Rockstar has released a nifty little application allowing PC users to convert commercial CDs into a format playable in the game.
Rockstar Custom Tracks is an application which provides owners of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories with a method of transferring their music tracks to the game, so that they can be played as a custom soundtrack. The application will only work with commercial CDs, so those wanting to convert some MP3s or alike are out of luck, as are those wanting to use homemade CDs.
To enable the custom sound track you have to pause the game and enable the option in the Audio section. This will give you a single Custom Soundtrack radio station playing only your imported music. Track names will be displayed on screen and you can change tracks by pressing left or right on the D-pad. You will of course need a Memory Stick in order to load the music and this stick must contain a Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories game save in order for the Custom Tracks application to work.
You can download the application directly from the Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories website.
