PS2 Magazine reveals more on the PSP version of GTA.
Speaking to the American Official PlayStation 2 magazine, a senior Rockstar representative has revealed some more information on the handheld's most anticipated game.
"We never looked at it like it was a portable game," said the Rockstar rep. "I would really be surprised if there were more expansive handheld games ever made, but content-wise, I can be very confident in saying there has never been anything on a handheld like this."
The rep goes on to discuss the concerns over battery life because of the streaming nature of the game.
"The process of laying the data and code paths out to facilitate elegant streaming automatically ensures we are as battery-friendly as possible," the rep explained, but no details on how long the PSP's battery would last were revealed.
Rockstar are sounding pretty confident about the PSP incarnation of the Grand Theft Auto series and given their track record who can doubt them. The game is expected for release later this year.
