F1 06 Review

Formula One fans don't have a better console alternative to Sony's latest effort, and while it's by no means a perfect recreation of the sport, it does a lot of things very well.

Unlkess you want to go to the trouble of ordering it online and getting your PS2 chipped voiding any warrantee (but if you're like me you've had it for way passed its warrantee so it don't matter) Reply

Capt K	0 0 In response to Article » Go to 's original post I did purchase F1 05 and being an avid F1 fan I too was disappointed with relevant ease of the game, even with all aids turned off (almost two minutes ahead of the Ferraris in the Red Bull cars, come on!!) . Lack of damage was also raised an eyebrow. I also enjoy full races and therefore its great that you can save mid race in Championship mode. However I was very, very disappointed that you couldnt save mid race in Career Mode and, as a result of the above two facts, I have lost interest in the game. I now see that F1 06 is out on Platinum and Im wondering about the Career mode; can you save mid race, can anyone tell me? I enjoyed all of your comments and my hopes were raised with regards to the comments made on improved AI and realistic damage. I hope Team Liverpool have spiced up the Career mode as its dull as dish water in F1 05. However saying all that I still congratulate Team Liverpool on an, overall, excellent representation of the sport through F1 05. Geoff Crammond still wipes the floor with everyone though! Reply
