Ever dreamed of playing a game with Pixar-quality graphics? So has Insomniac.

Next year’s PS4 re-imagining of Ratchet & Clank will run at 1080p/30fps, the developer has confirmed, with the aim to get the game looking as good, or even better than the upcoming CG movie.

“We’re 1080p/30fps,” community lead James Stevenson posted on PlayStation Blog. “Our goal was to match or exceed the fidelity of CG animated movies. When we first started we realized that was actually possible with PS4. Pretty exciting.”

The game will be priced at a budget $39.99, too, Stevenson says, although it’s estimated 10-12 hour playtime means it’ll still be fairly lengthy. A UK price has yet to be confirmed.

The first trailer and gameplay footage of Ratchet & Clank was revealed yesterday, and it could well be one of the best looking games on PS4 yet. Look out for a full release in early 2016.
