Rainbow Six Siege’s Canadian DLC Operators are called Frost & Buck, leaked screens reveal

More details on Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming DLC operators have leaked ahead of their release next month.

The two characters, who are believed to be part of a new Canadian Task Force, are allegedly named ‘Frost’ and Buck’, and come equipped with brand new guns and unique abilities.

Frost, a Defending operator, is apparently able to lay a “mechanical trap to incapacitate enemies”, and can choose between a Super 90 shotgun or close to mid-range 9mm C1 submachine gun when heading into battle.

Attacking operator Buck, meanwhile, is reportedly able to toggle an “under-barrel shotgun attachment on his main weapon” – either the C8-SFW assault rifle or CAMRS marksman rifle. You can check out statistics on all four new weapons over on Imgur.

Ubisoft has yet to formally announce details on next month’s DLC Operators but has confirmed that two will be available on February 2, with a further six rolling out before the end of the year. A brand new map, rumoured to be set on a shipwrecked yacht – and by the looks of it, new title screen (below) – are also due to roll out on February 2.

The leak follows two weeks after the faces of two new operators, including Frost and an as-yet unnamed American character, appeared online. An official Ubisoft video released last year, meanwhile, appeared to show a further American character due for release this year. The video has since been pulled.

Each DLC operator will be available to unlock in-game by spending 25,000 Renown, or by purchasing them individually for £3.99. Ubisoft estimates that it’ll take most players around 25 hours to earn enough Renown to unlock each new DLC operator.
