A UEFA EURO 2016 edition of PES 2016 will launch at retail and digitally for PS3 and PS4 on April 21, Konami has announced. The new edition will feature the original PES 2106, plus all the EURO 2016 DLC content.

The DLC, meanwhile, will be released to all existing PES 2016 players on March 24, giving PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC gamers the chance to take part in this summer’s tournament. The DLC will be available free of charge.

Euro 2016

EURO 2016 kicks off in France on June 10 and will see 24 teams battle it out over 50 matches, with the final taking place on July 10. The mode will feature full iconography and presentation elements from this year’s tournament, and also includes the Stade de France stadium, which hosts the final in July.

From the 24 qualified teams that feature real players with hundreds of authentic player faces, 15 fully licensed teams will be included with the latest strips for England, Wales, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Northern Ireland and hosts France. All squads will also be in line with those of the qualifying nations.

Whether downloading the DLC or buying the standalone game, the new EURO 2016 mode will be selectable from the PES 2016 main menu.

Also look out for EURO 2016 content coming to PES Club Manager and Konami’s PES Collection titles for iOS and Android.
