EA will reveal the first look at Star Wars Battlefront during a Star Wars expo next month, the publisher has announced.
“We’re thrilled to share that Star Wars Battlefront will be taking part in Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19,” EA said on the game’s website. “We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.”
Developed by Battlefield creators DICE, Star Wars Battlefront promises to deliver the “ultimate Star Wars battle experience”, and allow players to take control of Snowspeeders, Speeder Bikes and AT-STs.
The game was first announced at E3 2013 and is said to have received a “superb ovation” from attendees when it was shown at a behind closed doors retail event earlier this month.
A PS4, Xbox One and PC release is due this Christmas.
