Konami has warned players of a Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain bug which halts progression during certain missions.

The publisher writes: “There is a possibility that the game stops progress if having Quiet as a buddy while playing “Mission 29” or “Mission 42″.”

PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms are all affected by the bug.

There isn’t currently a fix, but the issue can be avoided by not utilising Quiet as a buddy on either Mission 29 or 42.

“We deeply apologize, and appreciate your patience for further announcements regarding this issue,” concluded Konami.
