A new in-game currency that allows players to unlock new customisation options has been introduced to Killzone: Shadow Fall via the game’s latest title update.

The currency, known as ‘Valor’, lets players convert their multiplayer score into credits that can be used to buy Mystery Boxes featuring 80+ customisation items, including a range of skin packs, voice packs and move packs.

The items had previously only been available to those who paid for them via microtransactions.

Valor can also be used to purchase gameplay boxes featuring 12 different boosts, including increased movement speed and silent footsteps.

The title update introducing the new currency rolls out today.
