Sony is in talks with Rockstar about the possibility of bringing exclusive content to the PS4 version of Grand Theft Auto 5 and launching a GTA 5 PS4 hardware bundle.

Asked whether the PS4 version could receive exclusive content or a hardware bundle similar to deals with Activision on Destiny and Ubisoft on Watch Dogs, PlayStation UK boss Fergal Gara said:

“There’s lots of conversations going on but there’s nothing to reveal at this stage. Obviously it’s an incredible franchise and we’re delighted to be working with Rockstar. We’ll flesh out the details as soon as we can.”

Sony previously worked with Rockstar on a PS3 GTA 5 hardware bundle, which launched alongside the game last September.

The PS4 version of GTA 5 was revealed during Sony’s E3 press conference on Monday and later confirmed for Xbox One and PC.

The game is expected on all platforms this autumn.
