In anticipation of UFC 194 on December 12 which sees Featherweight fighters Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor squaring off to unify the division title, EA has released three new videos which show off in-game action from UFC 2.

Not only will the main fight unify the Featherweight division, but the winner will also join Ronda Rousey on the cover of EA Sports UFC 2.

The in-game footage focusses on three gameplay elements: Knockout Physics System, Next-Level Submissions and Dynamic Grappling.

EA states: “A revolutionary new physics-driven hit reaction and knockout system delivers more visceral, more rewarding, and more authentic KOs than ever before. Every knockout is now unique, and finishing the fight has never been more satisfying.”

“Surprise your opponent with a flying armbar from the clinch, or with a quick transition from a knee bar to a heel hook. The addition of standing submissions and submission chaining takes UFC 2’s grappling game to the next level,” explains EA.

“For the first time in any MMA game, experience the freedom of independent fighter control in every grappling situation. Simultaneous two-fighter interaction brings the ground game to life with greater responsiveness and variety,” says EA.

UFC 2 is scheduled for a spring 2016 release on PS4 and Xbox One.
