Arrowhead Game Studios added what looked like the most difficult Major Order so far in Helldivers 2, with it calling for the eradication of 2 billion Terminids. This left many players shocked and wondering how the Helldivers were going to be able to pull it off in time, with them having six days to complete it.
Instead, the Helldivers making light work of the Major Order and are now waiting to see what Arrowhead Game Studios has up it’s sleeves.
When Arrowhead Game Studios gave the figure of two billion Terminids, understandably many were stunned at the amount that would have to be taken down, as most players might eliminate 100-300 per successful, the protspect of billions is something that couldn’t be comprehended. But, in just over 12 hours, the Major Order was completed, which meant that just over 150 million Terminids were eliminated per hour.
I had estimated that the Major Order would take Helldivers 2 players just over one day to complete, based on how fast they killed the Terminids during the first couple of hours. But, that estimate was soon beaten once the day progressed as the Major Order began early in the morning in the US so many players weren’t online at the time. It will be interesting to see what the next Major Order is, and whether Arrowhead Game Studios sets the bar higher for the next time a challenge like this occurs.
With the latest Major Order complete and the Terminids exterminated, things are quiet for now in the galaxy. But, we won’t have to wait another five days for the next Major Order, Arrowhead Game Studios should release a new one shortly.
