Dishonored 2 will release worldwide on Friday, November 11, Bethesda has announced. The game will be available simultaneously on PS4, Xbox One and PC, having been previously due to release this spring.

The first gameplay footage, meanwhile, will be shown during Bethesda’s E3 press conference, which begins on June 12 at 7pm PST (June 13, 3am BST in the UK). But if you can’t wait until then, new details about the game will be revealed in the latest issue of Game Informer, which will be available digitally later today.

“Reprise your role as a supernatural assassin in Dishonored 2 – the next chapter in the award-winning Dishonored saga by Arkane Studios,” says Bethesda.

“Play your way in a world where mysticism and industry collide. Will you choose to play as Empress Emily Kaldwin or the royal protector, Corvo Attano? Will you make your way through the game unseen, make full use of its brutal combat system, or use a blend of both? How will you combine your character’s unique set of powers, weapons and gadgets to eliminate your enemies? The story responds to your choices, leading to intriguing outcomes, as you play through each of the game’s hand-crafted missions.”

The original Dishonored released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in October 2012 before heading to PS4 and Xbox One last August. Pre-order Dishonored 2 now.
