Samurai Warriors-inspired DLC is heading to Dead or Alive 5: Last Round next month, Koei Tecmo has announced.

Starting from March 17, Samurai Warriors 4 character Naotora Ii will join the roster of playable fighters, letting players get to grips with her signature ‘Ii Style Leg Strikes’ fighting style and ‘specialised kick-based attacks’. She’ll be available to download for â‚¬5.99 in Europe, although a UK price has yet to be announced.

Also arriving on March 17 is the Azuchi castle stage first seen in Dead or Alive 3. That’ll be available for free to all players on PS4 and Xbox One, although it isn’t yet clear how or if it’s rolling out on PC.

Then, on March 29, a variety of Samurai Warriors-inspired outfits will arrive for Dead or Alive 5’s existing characters, alongside a debut costume pack for Naotora II. Naotora’s pack will cost â‚¬7.99 or available in a bundle with the character for €11.99, although a price for the other outfits has yet to be confirmed.
