Activision has revealed the first information on Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s Season Pass, confirming that re-imagined versions of multiplayer maps from Call of Duty: World at War and earlier games in the Black Ops series will be released as DLC.

The details were revealed on the Xbox Store, confirming that the Season Pass will deliver “4 epic DLC map packs in 2016 with all-new multiplayer content, including re-imagined fan-favorite maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, plus thrilling Treyarch Zombies content, all for one great price.”

As well as new multiplayer maps, the Season Pass will also offer day one access to a bonus Zombies map called ‘The Giant’.

“Set in a World War II-era research facility featuring the weapon-upgrading Pack-a-Punch Machine, re-live the chaos of Treyarch’s classic “Der Riese” Zombies map, picking up the Zombies story with Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo where Origins left off.”

The Season Pass will not be available on Xbox 360, however, suggesting that the DLC may not be coming to last-gen platforms. VideoGamer.com has contacted Activision for further clarification.

The Season Pass is currently available to pre-order on Steam for £34.99. Expect console versions to cost the same.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC on November 6.
