DICE has detailed the list of balancing tweaks coming to Battlefield 4 in a future update, revealing plans to nerf the mobile anti-aircraft's missiles and increase the damage of the attack helicopter.

"As millions of players dive into the game, new gameplay styles emerge, and with them the need to keep fine-tuning the core gameplay elements," the developer wrote on the Battlefield Blog. "In this post, we’ll talk about the upcoming Battlefield 4 tweaks that we have planned, based on your feedback. These changes are all slotted to go live in a future game update."

The MAA's missiles appear to be taking the greatest hit, with the total carry count reduced from 6 to 4. The physical impact of those missiles is also being reduced to "prevent helicopters from flipping uncontrollably when hit", although the damage values will remain indentical.

The attack helicopter's Zuni Rockets and gunner cannon are both being given a damage boost, too, with tweaks making them even more effective at destroying vehicles.

It's not all good news for chopper pilots, though: the splash damage caused by the Scout Helicopter's 25mm cannons is being reduced to make them less effective against infantry.

Elsewhere, the MBT LAW missile is also having its 'intelligence' reduced and reload speed decreased, with the player being required to aim closer to their target before firing the missile.

The maximum damage range of the anti-tank M2 SLAM is being cut in half, too, reduced from 6m to 3m.

It isn't yet clear when the update featuring the changes will come into effect.

For more details on the upcoming changes, head through to the Battlefield Blog.

*****!
I'm trying to reach nr 1. in most Scout Helicopter kills in Norway, and i get about 150 kills everyday, but now it's going to be harder to get kills when they downgrade the splash-damage :c

It's nice when devs ask and listen to feedback.
