Battlefield 4 trailer tease: 'Prepare 4 Battle' on March 27

EA offers a "sneak peek" at Battlefield 4, promises "more soon".

EA has teased the imminent reveal of Battlefield 4, telling fans to "Prepare 4 Battle" on March 27.

The announcement was teased via a video released over social network Vine, which appears to show snippets from the game's trailer, including close-up shots of a gun barrel and tank.

The words "Prepare 4 Battle" appear shortly after, along with a handwritten "03.27" date.

"Straight from the video editing suite," reads the accompanying caption. "Prepare 4 Battle - 03.27! This sneak peek now, more soon. (Please RT!) #BF4"

The date conflicts with invites sent to media last week, confirming a Battlefield 4 event taking place on Tuesday, March 26 and leading many to believe that the game could be revealed on the same day.

Judging by today's video, though, expect a full reveal of Battlefield 4 on March 27.

Battlefield 4 is due for release before April 2014. An October launch seems fairly likely, doesn't it?
