Ubisoft is working on implementing “innovative asynchronous gameplay” into the next major Assassin’s Creed title, Assassin’s Creed Victory, according to the LinkedIn profile of the game’s associate producer.

Daniel Palix’s online CV states that he led development on a pair of new features in the upcoming game between November 2013 and August 2014, including “an innovative asynchronous gameplay” and “some innovative Player Space”.

However, he warns that the asynchronous mode is “not confirmed”, suggesting it may or may not make it into the final game. Further details on the feature were not disclosed.

Ubisoft has yet to formally announce Assassin’s Creed Victory, despite the first details leaking online late last year. The upcoming title is expected to be set during Victorian London with development led by Ubisoft Quebec. Previous core games in the series were led by Ubisoft Montreal.
