Improved and new matches:

Street Brawl:
In this match, you will be fighting outside on the streets. Anything goes and the only way to win is to knock out your opponent.

Street Fight:
This match has been left out from several games. It’s a match where Tables, Ladders, Trashcans, and many other weapons come in to play. The only way to win is to pin or submit your opponent in the ring.

Table:
A new feature will be the ability to put weapons on the tables. E.g. Putting thumbtacks on the table and crashing your opponent through the table.

TLC:
In the past games, TLC’s have not had the option to have a title up for grabbing from the ladder. We always have to pin an opponent to win. This year that won’t be the case. You will have to get the belt hanging above.

Steel Cage:
A new feature will be able to do finishing moves from the top of the cage. E.g. A Frog Splash from the top of the cage.

Hell In The Cell:
The cell will be bigger this year. In past games the cell has been really small. You have no room inside the cell (outside the ring) to do anything. When Undertaker and Orton were in the Cell, Taker chased Orton around the inside of the cell. There was room to hit people with weapons. We don’t have any weapons except a chair and that isn’t like any of the Cell’s I’ve seen. This year you will be able to get weapons from under the ring and use them to inflict damage. Also climbing up the Cell will be harder this year. You will have to have a stored full stamina to climb the Cell. Once you’re up there you can beat your opponent. There is a center part where you can send your opponent through the Cell. One more feature is Cell Finishers. This will involve the announcer’s table. When you put your opponent on the table you will have the option to perform a Cell Finisher. You must have a stored finisher. If you are RVD, you will climb the Cell and do a Five Star Frog Splash from the top through the table. That will result in an automatic KO to your opponent.

Parking Lot Brawl:
This year’s Lot will defiantly be improved. Brand new finishers have been added to the parking lot cars. Also you won’t be stuck in a small circle; you will be in an actual lot. Weapons including, chairs, pipes and other weapons you might find in a Parking lot will be there.

Casket match:
This year there is a casket match. Instead of just buried alive you can play a Casket. The object is to get your opponent into the casket and close it. It will be different from the buried alive because you are not trying to bury them. After your match a cutscene will show. It will feature the winner setting the loser on fire in the casket.

Ambulance Match:
In this match you will try to get your opponent into the ambulance. This match is very risky (thinking back to Shane/Kane) and will be a non-stop action match. To get your opponent into the ambulance, you will have to have two finishers and throw your opponent into the doors. Then press L1. Remember the other player will have the opportunity to reverse it and put you in that position.

I-Quit:
This match has been asked for years. It will be a no DQ match and the only way to win is to make your opponent say “I-Quit!” when you think your opponent is ready to quit tell the ref by pressing L1, to bring the microphone to him and ask him if he wants to quit. Then you win if he says I-Quit. If he has the mic on you, it depends on how weakened you are. If you are in red in more than three body parts, you quit.

Last Man Standing:
This year the only thing improved is the amount of players. Like DOR2, up to four players can play. Then its elimination until there is one left standing.

Stretcher Match:
The object is to get your opponent on the stretcher and pull him to the end of the stage. To get him on the stretcher, you must have two finishers and then you can press L1 and it will throw him onto the stretcher and a cutscene will show you pulling him to the end of the stage.

Those are the 40 hidden entrances. They’re names are also announced as they come out to the ring. So now all you need is to create them, give them moves and there is 40 more superstars.


Season Mode:
This year’s Story Mode will feature 60 specific storylines. Last year there was 40 storylines. So that makes 20 more storylines. As the years have gone by, the storylines have started to become different for every superstar. This year, all superstars from Smackdown and Raw and ECW are playable, with complete voiceovers. 5 legends will be playable. Those legends are Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Dusty Rhodes, Bret Hart, and Bobby Heenan.


General Manager Mode:
This year GM mode will be improved. As you know last year, GM mode included the Power 25. That was a new and very well liked addition. It will be here again but this time, there are explanations. So if Big Show is #1 it will say, “He beat Sabu last Tuesday and now he scores past the ladder and becomes number 1.” Yes I know it’s a little detail, but it adds more realism. Also this year you can have up to 35 superstars on your show. That’s 15 more than last year. Championships are another updated feature. This year you can have 6 championships on your show. So if you create a title, you can have it for GM mode. Also you may trade Championships with the other show. Now if that isn’t enough, this year you can view the entire show you put together. This means you can watch the final version of your show. This includes promos also. You will be able to have 5 promos per show. New promos have been added this year. A brand new one is the ability to host a show. (Cutting Edge, Highlight Real, etc.) They’re others as well. I’ll go over them further down.

King of the Ring Mode:
This mode was last seen before Smackdown vs. Raw began. It was a feature where you could have a series of matches that lead up to a final match to crown the king of the ring. It will return this year with all new additions.

When you first enter this mode a screen will appear.

Pick your Brand

RAW ECW SMACKDOWN!



Then after you chose your brand, Vince McMahon will have a message waiting for you. He will tell you the rules and then set you free.

Then you will chose between 4-8 matches. After you select that, you must set the rules and match types of tournament.

If you pick ECW, you will only have the option to choose ECW superstars. Then you pick your superstars.
You have 25 superstars on each roster. You may have the maximum of 16 superstars (8 matches). So choose wisely.

After that’s all selected your ready to start. You may play, skip or watch the matches.

After the final match, a cut-scene will appear. It will show the winner being crowned King of the Ring.
