Watchmen Part 2 out in July

Coming to XBLA/PSN and at retail together with Part 1.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the launch plans for Watchmen: The End is Night Part 2, the second of two long-form episodic action games based on the Watchmen film.

In Part 2 Rorschach contacts Nite Owl to help solve the case of a missing girl, Violet Greene. Patrick Wilson and Jackie Earle Haley, stars of the Watchmen film, also lend their voices to the respective roles of Nite Owl and Rorschach. As in Part 1, players can play together with a friend in split-screen co-op.

The game will be offered in the following formats:

- Available for download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network in July 2009.

- Watchmen: The End is Nigh Parts 1 and 2 will also be available for the first time as a single game available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in July 2009.
