Warhawk dated for North America

Boxed and downloadable versions available from August 28.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that Warhawk, its multiplayer focused air and land combat title, will be released on August 28. The game will be available at retail priced $59.99 or as a download from the PlayStation Store for only $39.99.

The retail edition will include some extra video content, a manual and a Jabra Bluetooth headset. You won't get any of this with the downloadable version, although we assume it will feature a digital manual.

So far no European release date for Warhawk has been announced.
