Virtua Fighter 5 out now

Not on PlayStation 3, but down at your local arcade - local if you happen to live in Japan.

Yesterday SEGA announced the arcade release of Virtua Fighter 5. Arriving considerably earlier than the PlayStation 3 game, the arcade version is now in operation in Japanese arcades. At the moment Japan is the only place you'll be able to get a game, that is until the arcade machine makes it over hear, or the game is released on the PlayStation 3; whichever arrives first.

The PS3 release is still some months away though. Sega of America's VP of Marketing, Scott Steinberg revealed earlier this month that the flagship SEGA fighter is currently scheduled to ship in March 2007.
