Columbia to bring Drake's adventures to movie theatres.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Columbia is developing Naughty Dog's Uncharted video game series into a feature film.
Kyle Ward (Kane & Lynch for Lionsgate and Hitman 2 for 20th Century Fox) is to pen the adaptation, with Avi Arad, Charles Roven, Ari Arad and Alex Gartner to produce.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is reported to have sold one million copies in its first ten weeks on release. The game follows Nathan Drake, a descendent of explorer Sir Francis Drake, who believes he has learned the whereabouts of El Dorado, the fabled South American golden city.
A sequel, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, is scheduled for release on PS3 later this year.
