Uncharted 2 has been wowing PlayStation 3 fans - and some jealous Xbox 360 owners - for several months now, and there's one question on the lips of Nathan Drake's growing fan base: Will there be a third game?

According to Nathan Drake voice Actor Nolan North, a third game is a sure thing.

Speaking to Official PlayStation magazine, North said: "Well I know we're going to be assured a third one. That would just be financially irresponsible, not to do a third one."

This backs up comments made by Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig, who earlier this month called Nathan Drake's adventure series an "ongoing franchise".

I have to agree, I love Gears but I dont think I would be heartbroken if we followed the story of someone else next time around.

Hardly.Uncharted has actual characters.As Good as Gears is,you could play as anyone without damaging the game.

hm interesting post El-Dev. A psp version of uncharted is surely in the works.The only sony IP's left without a psp version is uncharted and inFAMOUS.. it's just a matter of time one of these will make it to the psp, and most likely uncharted

Good news then. I reckon a PSP version and another PS3 version would be enough not to milk and devalue the franchise.

Indeed. Without Nolan North playing as Drake, Uncharted will not feel the same. Same goes to Sully and Elena.

Its like saying playing Gears of War without Marcus & Dom.
