Something 'awesome' for Uncharted 2 this week

Naughty Dog teases something multiplayer related.

Uncharted 2 multiplayer is about to get more awesome if you believe the hype coming from developer Naughty Dog's Twitter.

"Things are looking up that we're going to have something quite awesome lined up for multiplayer at the end of this week," stated a recent Twitter post.

What is Naughty Dog talking about? New maps, new characters, a new gameplay mode? Whatever it is, we've been promised it'll be awesome.

I started getting my stuff imported from Asia......Way cheaper. Almost as cheap as I used to get them for in America. I miss home.

PS3 owners will want to stay home on Black Friday. Why? Naughty Dog is releasing the first downloadable content for Uncharted 2's multiplayer mode this Friday, November 27. A title update will add "The Fort," a brand new multiplayer map supposedly based on the "Fortress" chapter of Drake's Fortune. According to the press release, "The Fort is a long rectangular map with wide open spaces and excellent flank routes." There's a shotgun in the center of the map and an RPG in the crypt (the inevitable resting place of people on the wrong end of that weapon). Best of all, this update will be free.

Once the patch goes live at 1PM ET, Naughty Dog will also initiate a Double Cash weekend. Teams will have special skins in competitive matches: Doughnut Drake for the Heroes (pictured above), and Doughnut Lazarevic for the Villains.

I don't know where abouts in oz you live but you need to get over to BigW for any future purchases. Prices there are almost never over $100 and some new releases such as UC2 & MW2 were only $89 & $82 respectively.

I'd like to see a better online lobby function which enables you to see games being played and forming as it happens. Sometimes it's just really frustrating waiting ages for one game only to be redirected back to the waiting screen once players leave the previous list.

I'll settle for some new maps and game modes though.... I don't expect they'll be free but that'd be one hell of a bonus.

What ever it is I hope its goddame free...... Sick of all the premium add on stuff. I don't and won't buy them, no matter how awesome. Give me my content when I buy the game at 120 Aussie dollar a pop.
