GAME will stock Twisted Metal on PS3
One of the only major releases the retailer is stocking this Friday.
PlayStation 3 vehicular combat game Twisted Metal will be available at GAME stores this Friday, Sony has confirmed to Eurogamer.
However, Twisted Metal may be one of only a handful of new titles making its way to GAME's stores this week. EA's widely publicised problems with GAME means no stock of FIFA Street, following on from last week's no show for Mass Effect 3.
Stock of Rising Star Games' Bit.Trip Complete and Saga is in doubt, with the publisher confirming availability at Amazon and HMV. Konami's Birds of Steel and Blades of Time are not listed on the GAME website, whilst Namco Bandai's Saint Seiya Sanctuary Battle and SEGA's Yakuza: Dead Souls remain on the GAME website, but haven't been confirmed to be stocked in GAME stores.
Talks of a possible buyout for GAME continue, though it's now believed any such deal will happen once the firm enters into administration.

I only hope that VG are looking at doing some sort of deal with another supplier before we get our email!

It will be interesting to see how well this one does, being as it has received next to no promotion in the stores I have been in. It was always unlikely to top the charts, but one can imagine a pretty good boost due to customers wanting to spend their reward points on ANYTHING before the big implosion.
