Activision won't be rushing out a new Bond title for the release of Casino Royal this winter. Other Activision games revealed.

With Casino Royal arriving in movie theatres this winter, it's quite normal to expect an accompanying video game, but that simply won't be the case. In a conference call detailed by GameSpot, Activision chairman Bobby Kotick has revealed that the company won't be releasing a Bond title until 2008 - coinciding with the May release of the film following Casino Royal.
Kotick also spoke of an "all-new Guitar Hero" game that would be released in the fiscal year 2008 which begins April 2007. Arriving soon after April 2007 are the movie licensed games Spider-Man 3, Shrek 3 and Transformers - all likely to appear alongside their respective movies. Later in the year we'll also see new titles in the Tony Hawk's and Call of Duty franchises, plus a new Marvel licensed title.
