UPDATE 2 15/12: The Xbox 360 version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is now available to buy via the Xbox Store for £24.99, despite Activision stating yesterday that it had no plans to release the game in the UK “at this time”.

The game is not yet available on PS3.

VideoGamer.com has contacted Activision UK for further clarification.

UPDATE 14/12: The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 are not releasing in the UK this week, Activision has confirmed, despite their US launch.

In an update provided to VideoGamer.com today, an Activision spokesperson said: “We’re not releasing in the UK on those platforms at this time.”

Whether that means the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are still coming to the UK at all or they’ll arrive some time next year isn’t entirely clear, but we’ve checked back in with Activision for more info.

ORIGINAL STORY: The last-gen version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will release in the US next week, it’s been revealed.

According to the latest PlayStation Blogcast, the PS3 version will be available digitally and on-disc next Tuesday, December 15, although it isn’t yet clear whether the game will also arrive on Xbox 360 at the same time.

The last-gen versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 were delayed from their initial November launch date to give developer Robomodo additional resources to fix the buggy PS4 and Xbox One versions. A patch improving the current-gen versions released late last month.

A UK release date for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions has yet to be confirmed, but we’ve checked in with Activision UK to try and find out more.
