New Tomb Raider to feature multiplayer?

Crystal Dynamics seeking lead designer with advanced multiplayer knowledge.

It would appear that Crystal Dynamics' latest entry in the Tomb Raider franchise - not officially announced, but said to be a reboot that will reinvigorate the franchise - will introduce multiplayer, a first for the long-running franchise.

A job posting for a lead designer states: "able to effectively create and lead the multiplayer vision and design effort; must demonstrate advanced knowledge of current multiplayer design and ability to design multiplayer maps from written map designs."

There's no mention of Tomb Raider in the job advertisement, but it's assumed Crystal Dynamics is only working on the one game.

Do people still care about Tomb Raider? I thought it had had it's time in the sun. Maybe MP can bring something new to it, but SP is where the focus should fully be.

Reminds me of that Aprill fool prank on the Gamesmaster mag, where they said there was a cheat on the orginal Tomb Raider where you could get her with no clothess on.
You had to press certain points in the game and some music would play, it was Wannabe by Spice Girls and they had pics to prove it lol.
Loads of people fell for it as well as they had loads of complaints from readers lol.
I thought it was a really funny prank and was astonished so many fell for it.
