The European PlayStation Plus content for March 2014 has been confirmed by the PlayStation Blog, and it's exactly the same line-up that leaked earlier in the week.

Headlining on PS4 is Dead Nation: Apocalypse, an updated version of the original PS3 title and its expansion. Developed by Housemarque, the top-down shoot 'em up is set in an apocalyptic zombie-infested world and features a fully cooperative campaign.

The PS4 version is also pumping out full 1080p visuals, and offers interactive streaming during which viewers can decide what challenges the player faces.

Dead Nation will be available from March 5, and will be joined by the following:

  • Tomb Raider PS3
  • Brothers A Tale of Two Sons PS3
  • Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD Vita
  • Smart As Vita

Making way on March 5 are:

  • Outlast/Sound Shapes
  • Metro Last Light
  • Guacamelee! (Cross Buy)
  • Dynasty Warriors Next
  • ModNation Racers Road Trip

Make sure you add the Vita game "Dynasty Warriors Next" to your download list before its removed on the 5th. I was surprised how much I enjoyed that game. Pretty much a perfect handheld game, each battle is only 10-20 mins so can be played in quick bursts but there are tons of characters, weapons, items etc to collect.
A button masher, but it's very satisfying cutting though hundreds of enemies :)

I already played "Brothers A Tale of Two Sons" on 360, when it went on sale last, but this will give me an excuse to play it again. "Tomb Raider" will be new to me, it was one of those titles where I was waiting for bargain bin price but I guess this saves me some cash.

Its ridiculous how many games I've built up over only about 6 months on PS+. I'm kicking myself for not joining up sooner, I'd have had an even bigger library...

PixelJunk Monsters is one of the finer Tower Defence games ever. I bought it on PSP when it first came out (and then got criminally undersold thanks to pirating), on PS3 and bought it on Vita as soon as it made the format.

Still haven't played Tomb Raider, so looking forward to that.

A disappointing month for me; I already have the PS3 offerings (and bought Brothers) and don't have a PS4. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Vita offerings, however.
