A new release schedule published by Ubisoft has confirmed that the publisher plans to ship five titles for the European PS3 launch.
The PlayStation 3 is currently expected to arrive in Europe this March - later if you believe one of several launch delay rumours - and Ubisoft, a keen supporter of each of the new consoles, will be there on day one with five titles. Good news on the face of it, but only one of the five won't have been available for many months on other platforms.
Listed for release at launch are Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, Oblivion, Blazing Angels, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2; the latter is currently scheduled to arrive on Xbox 360 and PC on March 3.
Whilst only offering titles that are or will be available on other platforms, Ubisoft's support for the PlayStation 3 will enable early PlayStation 3 adopters to experience some of the titles they may have missed out on should they have decided against buying an Xbox 360.

Gamespot recently did an article that compared EVERY game appearing on both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. EVERY game appearing on both systems is better on the Xbox 360!
The Xbox 360 versions have more polygon detail in each frame, smoother framerates, better lighting, faster load times, and better overall graphics.
Virtually every Playstation 3 game available is also on the Xbox 360, and the Xbox 360 version is BETTER!!!
