Female spy character coming to Xbox 360 Splinter Cell

Contrary to previous reports that the female spy character was a PS3 exclusive, Ubisoft says she's coming to Xbox 360 as well.

Ubisoft has cleared up a misunderstanding which led to reports that the female spy character would be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 version of the game.

"...The female skins will not be PS3 exclusive, anyone who said/wrote so was confused by the fact that Ubisoft released information about the DLC and the PS3 version together," a Ubisoft community manager said in official forums.

Xbox 360 owners can look forward to playing with the female spy character as soon as she is released in the form of downloadable content - when that will be hasn't been announced.

Splinter Cell Double Agent will be released next month when the PlayStation 3 finally makes its way to Europe.
