Deus Ex: Human Revolution free on PlayStation Plus
Add-on packs all 50 per cent off.
The PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection has been updated in the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe region to include Square Enix's Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
The sci-fi action game will be available to PS Plus subscribers until the beginning of August.
In addition, PS Plus members can also enjoy a 50 per cent discount on the Deus Ex: Human Revolution DLC packs: The Explosion Mission Pack, the Explosive Mission and Tactical Enhancement Pack, and The Missing Link pack. These packs will be discounted for the next two weeks.
And finally, the original Deus Ex (PS2 version) is being offered at 50 per cent off its regular price.
Regarding the next PS Plus update, Sony says Chime Super Deluxe and Warhammer 40:000: Space Marine will be making way for two new titles on July 18.

You are a marketing man's dream.

The whole point of the PSN+ service is I thought was to beef up your PSN experience by offering exclusive access to betas and demos, cloud saving, auto updates, auto patches, and exclusive discounts in the PSN Store. Free titles they keep offering are just addon bonuses IMO.
And yes, they ARE free because I paid for the PSN+ services, and not the titles themselves.

I'm not saying it's not a bargain. I'm just saying it's not free.

I'd suggest that if you bought PS+ for the cloud services and other perks prior to the 45 game deal being announced they you might see these games as 'free' when they are actually more correctly described as a 100% discount on the store price. This also separates them from the other deals where you simply get a discount on the game through PS+
As I said, it's pretty much like people going around calling a Vacuum Cleaner a Hoover, which is factually wrong unless it is from Hoover.

It may work out as "free" if you play the games or use the discounts but it's not free.
It's like me hiring contractors for my business and because my contractors did a better job than if had hired through individuals, the extras were free.
I would be saving money possibly but the extras I would not consider as free and I agree Guderman as that's how I see it.
Oddworld I almost paid ten quid for but then it was on PSN+ out of the blue and saved me forking out a tenner for it and I think its the same for other things.

I do miss the minis though.

I was talking about this at work the other day and it's amazing how much my gaming attitude has changed over the last year. Between PS+ and Lovefilm I have played nearly everything that I have wanted to this year and it has cost me less than £20 per month, (which also includes film rentals as well as games). I really thought that not having the games to keep would bother me as I was always one to buy new releases on day one and loved having shelves full of games, but it hasn't bothered me one little bit - and the extra money has come in very useful! I know that this style of playing games isn't for everyone, especially the game hoarders, and I think it deffo helps that I'm not an online gamer so things like online passes are not an issue for me but I know that I certainly won't be going back to the old days of desperately trying to get the cash together for day one purchases. It's really opened my eyes to the possibilities that services like Onlive may be able to offer me in the future for my gaming needs.
Sorry I digressed from the topic - errrr.... No, Not Free, but good value for money!

It's a bit like saying spend £3 a month with Boomerang and they send you a free game. It's not really free at all, unless you don't include the spending money part in your equation I guess.
